Sartell-St. Stephen Schools Receive High Ratings as New State Accountability Score Released

All schools in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District continue to have students exceeding state proficiency targets in all subjects and sub-categories.  Along with proficiency, this new system also rates each school on student growth and achievement gap reduction. High schools also receive a score for graduation rate.  These scores are then combined to provide a final rating for each school.

First Football Game at SCSU Husky Stadium

It has been decided to change the location for our August 31 varsity football game to Husky Stadium at St. Cloud State University.

District Offices Move Starts 8-24

On Friday, August 24, district offices including Food Service, Community Education, Human Resources, along with others, will be moving into their new locations at the District Service Center.  Also, on Friday August 24, there will be no phone or internet access for district office staff due to construction and rewiring.  Individual school building offices are still open.

Sartell-St. Stephen Students' ACT Scores Outperform State, Nation

The students in the Sartell-St. Stephen Schools continue to perform better than the ACT state and national averages at all levels.    The ACT consists of exams in English, Math, Reading and Science and includes benchmarks that determine students’ readiness for college.

Sartell-St. Stephen Students Continue To Achieve on Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments

Sartell-St. Stephen School District officials announced the local results of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments.  These assessments measure the reading and mathematics proficiency of 3rd through 8th grade and high school students across the state.

 "We are very excited to see continued high achievement  and student growth in our classrooms.  We will continue to use this data to further inform our learning targets for the year," shared Dr. Joe Hill, Sartell-St. Stephen Superintendent.
