SHS Pool Closed and Lessons Cancelled for 6/20

Due to an unforeseen cleaning, the Sartell High School pool will be closed for the rest of the day, Monday, June 20th, and all swimming lessons will be cancelled.  All classes will resume June 21 at their regularly scheduled time.

Summer Recreation Cancellations for June 15

All tennis lessons for today are cancelled.  Updates will be posted at www.sartellststephencommunityed.com

Football camp for Wednesday, June 15 has been postponed.  Hours for Thursday and Friday have been adjusted to 1:00 to 4:30 on Thursday and 9:00 to 12:30 on Friday.

SSEF Awards $22,500 to District Programs and Activities

The Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded $22,5,000 in grants to support academic programming (preK – 12) in the Sartell St. Stephen School District 2011-2012 school year.   The programs receiving grants include:

Sabre Nation Community Service Day is May 3

On May 3, our students and staff participated in Sabre Nation Community Service Day. Part of the day was be spent packaging food for Kids Against Hunger. Kids Against Hunger was at the high school and every student and staff member had the opportunity to package meals for one hour sometime during the day. After packaging the meals, students viewed a short video that helps us better understand how vast and severe the problem of hunger is and of how many people we helped to feed.  The groups packages over 113,000 bags of food.

A Charming Wine Event

The Sartell-St. Stephen Early Childhood Coalition presents "A Charming Wine Event" will be held on Tuesday, April 26th, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club.  The event includes appetizers, wine tasting, a silent auction and a jewelry raffle.  Proceeds benefit our communiy preschools and early childhood programs.

Tickets are $35 and are available at the Oak Ridge Elementary ECFE office, the SartellSt. Stephen Community Education office, or by contacting Tara Berger at 320-230-0607.

Be Prepared for MCA Testing
