Corrections Shared for Current Newsleaders Article

ISD 748 would like to provide the following corrections to the article, Sartell School Board to Consider Appointment, published in the April 12th edition of the Sartell Newsleaders.

Sartell High School Selects Hentges as Head Football Coach

Scott Hentges has been selected as Head Coach of the Sartell High School Football Team.  Hentges has been a long-time coach in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District.  In addition to holding several different coaching positions within football, he has also coached baseball, and boys and girls basketball for Sartell and St. Cloud Tech High School.

Exception To Area Attendance Forms Due April 27th

When the district changed attendance boundaries for the district's two elementary schools, a process was created to evaluate possible exceptions to attendance areas based on unique or compelling situations worthy of appeal.  This process allows for the district to provide consistency regarding exceptions to the district's attendance areas while allowing the district to manage the growth at each of the two elementary schools.  

SMS Student Wins State National Geographic Bee, Heads to National Competition

Gopi Ramanathan, an 8th grader at Sartell Middle School, won the State National Geographic Bee held at St. Cloud State University on Friday, March 30th, and will head to the National-Level Geographic Bee to represent Minnesota in May.
