Volunteering

Each year hundreds of community people volunteer in our schools.

During the school year, volunteer opportunities exist in:
      • classroom helpers
      • reading and math tutoring
      • media centers
      • academic extensions
      • school-sponsored activities and events
      • Community Ed sponsored activities after school hours
      • administrative skills
      • and more...
 
Volunteer requirements:
      • a commitment to serve our youth
      • time to offer your skills
      • dependability
      • a district-approved background check
 
Your help will:
      • make a difference in the lives of children
      • warm your heart
      • make use of your skills and energy
      • allow teachers more teaching time
      • improve school/community relations
