District Welcomes New Assistant Principals for the 15-16 School Year

New assistant principals have been hired to start in the 2015-16 academic year.  Current assistant principal positions were filled and one position was added to each building to continue to support the students and staff at the schools.

Sartell Middle School has hired Zachary Dingmann and Michelle Raml to serve as assistant principals.  Dingmann is currently an assistant principal in the Worthington School District at Prairie Elementary.  He has also worked in the Worthington School District and Clark County, Nevada, School District as a teacher.  Raml has worked in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District for over twelve years as a teacher at Sartell Middle School.  She has also served as an English Language Arts Content Specialist since 2012.

Brian Baloun and Sara Gabrielson have been hired as the assistant principals at Sartell High School.  Baloun is currently an assistant principal in the St. Cloud Area School District at Apollo High School.  He has also served the St. Cloud Area School District as a principal for the Area Learning Center and a teacher on special assignment that supported staff with a focus on struggling learners.  Gabrielson is currently an Instructional and Data Coach in the New Ulm School District.  She has also worked as a Social Studies teacher in the Sibley East School District and Eastern Carver County School District.

“With the continued enrollment increases in our district, we needed to provide more support for our staff and students,” shared Jeff Schwiebert, Sartell-St. Stephen Superintendent.  “Through these additions, I am confident we will have an even stronger system in place to support the high-quality teaching and learning that happens with our students in the classroom and throughout their school-related experiences.  We had an excellent pool of candidates from which to choose. These folks will be excellent additions to the administrative team and our district.”
