Girls Swim Team Successful at State Meet

The Girls Swimming and Diving Team had another extremely successful season taking the third place trophy at the State Championships this weekend at the U of M!

Here are some Highlights:
 
200 Medley Relay: Ellen Bloom, Tarin Anding, Gabby Ross, Lauren Martens (1:50.02), 4th Place (2nd fastest time in school history)!
 
200 Freestyle: Marisa Wood (1:49.69), 1st Place, School Record! State Record! Automatic All-American and Molly Peichel (2:01.57), 20th Place, Life-Best!
 
Fastest over-all in the both A &AA swimming!
 
200 I.M.:  Ellen Bloom, (2:08.31), 3rd Place, School Record!
 
Diving: Emily McIntire (273.80), 15th Place
 
100 Freestyle: Tarin Anding (53.64), 8th Place.   Ellen's 100 Freestyle Record was also All-American Consideration!
 
500 Freestyle: Marisa Wood (4:55.44) 1st Place, School Record! State Record! All-American Consideration!
 
Fastest over-all in the both A &AA swimming!
 
200 Freestyle Relay: Tarin Anding, Molly Peichel, Lauren Martens, Marisa Wood (1:37.41), 1st Place, All-American Consideration!
 
100 Backstroke:  Gaby Hagen (1:03.39), 19th Place, Life-Best and Ellen Bloom (:57.54), 2nd Place, School Record!
 
100 Breaststroke: Tarin Anding (1:09.13),  14th Place and Molly Peichel (1:10.63), 20th Place                            
 
400 Free Relay: Ellen Bloom, Lauren Martens, Gaby Hagen, Marisa Wood (3:33.30), 3rd Place, School Record, All-American Consideration!
 
Ellen Boom also set the school record in the 100 Freestyle (:51.84) leading out the 400 Free Relay on Saturday!
