2014 Sartell-St. Stephen Students' ACT Scores Outperform State, Nation

The students in the Sartell-St. Stephen Schools continue to perform better than the ACT state and national averages at all levels.    The ACT consists of exams in English, Math, Reading and Science and includes benchmarks that determine students’ readiness for college.

Elementary Summer Reading Celebration

The celebration for the Summer Reading Program or anyone who completed a Summer Reading Log will be held on Thursday, August 7th, from 5:30-6:30 PM near the Pine Meadow playground. There will be s'mores and lemonade for all students who participated in the Reading Program or completed the Summer Reading Log. Be sure to bring your reading log with you so you can sign a s'more to be displayed, so others can see how hard you worked over the summer. There will also be two mystery guest readers who will share a story with us that evening. 

District Calendars Available at School, In Communities

Sartell-St. Stephen School District calendars were delivered to mailboxes this week to households that have children attending schools within the district.  Calendars will also be made available to all community members at all district buildings and throughout the cities of Sartell and St. Stephen, including both City Halls and Liquid Assets.

SSEF Awards over $30,000 to Leading-Edge Programming

The Sartell-St. Stephen Education Foundation has awarded over $30,000 in grants to support leading-edge programming (preK – 12) to the Sartell-St. Stephen School District for the 2014-2015 school year.   The programs receiving grants include:

The first year of full access technology in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District has been a great success.  Through the initiative, teaching and learning has been transformed on many levels.  Teachers have been able to design instruction in new and innovative ways and students have been immersed in diverse and rich experiences that develop global and 21st century skills for a lifetime.

District Seeks Input From All Community Stakeholders

The Sartell-St. Stephen School District will be conducting its annual Community Survey to gain input and insights from district families and community members about the school district.  The survey will be available online between Wednesday, May 14th, and Wednesday, May 21st.  If you would like to request a paper copy, please contact Amy Trombley at 320-656-3779, or stop in at the District Service Center.
