District Seeks Input From All Community Stakeholders

The Sartell-St. Stephen School District will be conducting its annual Community Survey to gain input and insights from district families and community members about the school district.  The survey will be available online between Wednesday, May 14th, and Wednesday, May 21st.  If you would like to request a paper copy, please contact Amy Trombley at 320-656-3779, or stop in at the District Service Center.

School Board Meeting Time Adjusted

The Sartell-St. Stephen School Board will be meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19th.  This is earlier than the regularly scheduled time.

SHS Selects Hornseth as Head Volleyball Coach

Sarah Hornseth has been selected as Head Coach of the Sartell High School Volleyball Team.  Hornseth has been an assistant varsity coach at Sartell High School for the past five years.  She has also coached several years of Junior Olympic Volleyball in the Sartell program.

Hornseth replaces Ronell Uran, who retired from coaching after 20 years as head coach of the Sabres.  In 2005, Uran was named the State Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Volunteers Needed for Special Olympics Event

Sartell-St. Stephen School District is hosting the Area 7 Special Olympics Track and Field meet on Saturday, May 17th.

We are looking for high school or parent volunteers for many positions:  Timer, Shot Put, Softball/Tennis Throw, Running Long Jump, High Jump, Awards, Staging/Escorting or Registration.

There are two shifts available:  9:00 to 12:30 or 12:00 to 3:30

After School Activities Canceled for 3-18

Due to inclement weather, Sartell-St. Stephen Schools will be canceling all after school activities today, Tuesday, March 18.  All Community Education classes are also canceled.  

  • KIDSTOP will remain open until 5:00 p.m.

Two Hour Late Start for Monday, March 7

Due to inclement weather and extremely icy conditions, Sartell-St. Stephen Schools will be starting two hours late today, Friday, March 7.  All morning Preschool and AM Kindergarten classes are cancelled. Buses will use caution which may cause delays in regularly scheduled pick-up times.  As always, please use caution and do what will be best for your family’s safety, including keeping your child home if you deem that appropriate.  

After School Activities Cancelled for February 20

Due to inclement weather, Sartell-St. Stephen Schools will be cancelling all after school activities today, Thursday, February 20.  All Community Education classes and Sartell High School conferences are also cancelled.
