Sartell-St. Stephen School District Work Session Discusses Gathering More Information on Planning Proposal

The Sartell-St. Stephen School Board held a work session on Wednesday, December 2, to discuss the recommendation made by the Community Schools Planning (CSP) Committee in relation to facilities planning.  The Board acknowledged mutual consensus to move forward with the committee’s recommendation of the building of a new high school and the remodeling of current facilities to alleviate district space and capacity issues at all of the district’s facilities.

District 748 Strategic Plan Public Meeting

The District 748 Strategic Plan to support and improve teaching and learning with the goal of creating the world’s best workforce will be presented at the District Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Advisory Committee meeting on October 27th from 7:30 – 8:30 AM in the District Services Center Board Room. This meeting is open to the public.

Flowers for Algernon Performs 10/8-10/10

The Sartell High School Theater department invites you to attend the fall three-act-play Flowers for Algernon.  The play, based on one of the most widely adapted science fiction stories, Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, charts the progress of intellectual disabled Charlie, who develops a powerful intelligence, becomes a genius, and then slowly reverts to his original condition, after an only partially successful experimental treatment.

Special Education Advisory Council Meeting

The Sartell-St. Stephen School District would like to invite you to the first Special Education Advisory Council Meeting for the 2015-2016 school year. All parents of students will special needs are welcome to attend. We are always looking for new members and new ideas.

This meeting will be held at the Sartell-St. Stephen District Service Center in the Watab Room on Monday, October 5th from 6:00 - 7:30. Please join us!

Transportation Information for the First Weeks of School

The busing information that is visible in Skyward Family Access as of Friday, September 4, at 4:00 PM, is what will be used for the first two weeks of school.   To ensure a smooth process at the start of the year, we will not be adding or moving any stops until Monday, September 21.  New or additional students will be placed at stops that have already been established.   The Transportation Office will continue to work to update and support safe and efficient transportation for our students as more information is available.
