In-service days are used for professional development for our certified staff members. Though students are not present, staff members are busy participating in in-service training that is focused on improving achievement. Topics during these days include: improving the alignment of our curriculum with state standards; talking and focusing on best practices in various instructional strategies to meet students’ needs; discussing and interpreting student testing data; and a wide variety of other activities.
