Summer Library Opens June 15th

The summer open library program at Pine Meadow Elementary School in
Sartell will begin June 15 and run through Aug. 12, with all books due
Aug. 19. Although this is a free program, registration through
Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education is required and can be done any
day at the Pine Meadow library. The library will be open Tuesday
evenings from 5-7 p.m.; Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Thursdays
from 9-11 a.m. The Sartell Middle School media center is also open from
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursdays.

This summer's theme is "Read Around the Town!" Check out each week's
coordinates on your GPS and participate in a "reading scavenger hunt" in
and around Sartell, or simply stop in and enjoy reading in the
air-conditioned comfort of the Pine Meadow media center. Small prizes
are available for students on a weekly basis. Children who participate
in the "reading scavenger hunt" will be eligible for larger prizes to be
drawn at an exciting final activity in August. The location will be
revealed throughout the summer months as participants visit area parks
and attractions!

All Sartell-St. Stephen students are encouraged to participate in this
fun and exciting program. Registration is also open to children who are
not enrolled at Sartell schools.
