ACT Test for Juniors: This year SHS will again be offering the ACT Test with Writing for interested juniors. We used to require all students to test but due to changes at the state level, this year it is optional. Registration is required and is now open. Registration will close on December 15th. Please note:

  1. Students must register and pay by December 15th. Students who are on free and reduced lunch will have fee waivers available to them in the Counseling Office. Everyone else needs to pay $62.50 by December 15th. Please send exact change or a check made out to SHS. Payment can be made in the Counseling Office.
  2. Students who choose not to test will go to class as normal.
  3. Once payment is made, students are committed to test. We have to order the tests early and cannot order extras.
  4. Registration must be done through the student's google account. Parents will not be able to access this form. If you worry about your student registering when you have asked them to, simply sit down together and do it through the student's school issued device.
  5. Students who are looking at participating in Division 1 athletics must test on a National test date. This test date does not qualify for that. National Test dates can be found at www.actstudent.org.
  6. Students who are testing with us on April 3rd must attend a pre-administration session before testing. Information will be sent out to students and parents prior to this time.
  7. This is not your student's only time to test. Please note that Sartell does offer the National Test dates here at the high School in September, October, April, June, and July.
