Activity Early Outs:  Tuesday; Girls Hockey at 2:45, Thursday; One Act Play at 2:40, Nordic Ski (grade 9 Skiers) at time TBD, Friday; Wrestling at 1:25 and Girls Hockey at 2:30.

PowderPuff Volleyball: Come watch your fellow teachers and junior & senior boys play volleyball this Wednesday morning from 8:15-9:00am! It’ll be a blast! Not only are the teams playing for fun, but they are also competing for charity. The winning team will pick a charity for all the money to be donated to. Come support your school and community by watching and donating!

Registration is open for Spring Sports:  If this is your first sport of the year please click here to complete the MSHSL Eligibility form and pay your activity fee. Already participated this school year?  Use the link above to register and pay your activity fee using the account you already created.  

Winter Wonderland Tickets: The dance is sold out.  If you would like to attend the dance please see Mrs. Fredrickson to put your name on the ticket waiting list.  Mrs. Fredrickson will also buy back tickets until Wednesday of next week if you can no longer attend.  See Mrs. Fredrickson for a refund.

Attention all ART students from last quarter:  Come and pick up your graded work.  It is right outside the art office/art rooms in and around the display cases! We need to clear the space for new work!

Missing Books: Students who still have textbooks from 2nd quarter should return them as soon as possible to the teacher who issued the book.  Bills will be going home next week for any unreturned books.

Medallion hunt all week.  Coronation Monday night 7:30pm (admission is free!). Raffle tickets at lunch for those participating to the max in dress up days. Wednesday morning before school in the gym PowderBUFF Volleyball Senior boys Vs. Junior boys and two teacher teams battle for the win for charity! Friday is the Talent Show.  Saturday is the dance at Mulligans from 9-12 Unlimited pop and pizza and a candy buffet included with your ticket.

Interested in joining Envirothon?  Envirothon is a regional team competition for students in grades 9-12 in the areas of Forestry, Wildlife, Wetlands, Soils and current environmental issues.  See Mr. Hoffman in room C138 for more info or to sign up!  

Choir Auditions: Are now taking place for the 2015-2016 school year. Please come down to the music office to signup for an audition time or speak with Mr. Michaels or Mr. Nordhues. You do not need to have anything prepared. Can’t make choir fit in your schedule next year? Come by anyway and we can find a spot for you!

Interested in Summer Youth Baseball? Registration for Summer 2015 will open on February 1, 2015. Please click here and go to 'On-line Registration' to register students in grades 1 9. Yearbook: Students interested in creating the yearbook next year are encouraged to apply for the class. We are looking for students who like photography, graphic design and creative writing. Please pickup an application from the guidance office and return it to Mrs. Heckman by Friday 30 January. 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA): The next FCA Huddle will be held on Wednesday 28 January at 8:30am in the SHS Theater.  All are welcome!

TARGET:  There will be a TARGET meeting on Wednesday 28 January at 8:30am in the foods room (B110).
Boys & Girls Lacrosse: The Boys and Girls Knights Lacrosse teams are registering players for the 2015 spring lacrosse season. VEX Robotics: Congratulations to all three of SHS's VEX teams who have qualified for the state meet!  The State Tournament will be held on January 23 & 24.  WAY TO GO SABRES!!!

Big Brothers/Big Sisters: The BB/BS group picture will be retaken for the yearbook on Friday 23 January at 8:30am. Meet by Mrs. Heckman’s room (C107).

CLC Math Contest: Will be held on Wednesday 21 January at 3:30pm in Mr. Nemanich's room.  Any student in grades 9-12 is welcome to participate.  The test consists of 40 multiple choice questions which students will have 1 hour to complete. Questions will cover a variety of topics in algebra, geometry and statistics/probability. There is no limit to the number of students who can participate. If you need more information or have any questions, contact any SHS Math teacher.

TARGET Meeting: There will be a TARGET Club meeting on Wednesday 14 January at 8:30am in the Foods Room (B110).

Financial Aid Night: Will be held on Monday 12 January at 7:00pm in the SHS Theater.  If you can not attend there will be copies of the powerpoint available in the Counseling Office after the meeting.
