On Thursday, January 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the Sartell-St. Stephen School District is hosting a ‘Grand Welcoming and Open House’ for the recently-renovated District Service Center.  All community members are welcome to visit the District Service Center, located at 212 3rd Ave. N., in Sartell.  This building, which has been repurposed several times to support district needs, now houses the Early Childhood Center, Community Education, the Sartell Senior Connection, a family library, and District Offices.
Early Childhood and Preschool classrooms will be open.  Families will be able to meet with staff, participate in parent/child activities, and gather information about early childhood and preschool opportunities.  The newly-created Family Library will be open and the gymnasium with toddler activities.
Community Education will be highlighting courses including yoga and dance.  The Community Education office will be open for registration for upcoming classes and to answer questions.
The Sartell Senior Connection will have a room open with members at the event to share information about the Sartell Senior Connection activities and provide some history about the building with pictures and artifacts.  There will also be cards and books on display.
District offices will be open for touring.  Food Services will be open to discuss the school meal program.  District staff will be available to provide tours of the facility based on individual or group interests and refreshments will be available.  If you have questions, please call Amy Trombley at 320-656-3701 ext. 1112.
