ISD 748 School Board Meetings Now Viewable Online

The Sartell-St. Stephen School Board Meeting video recordings will now be uploaded and available for public viewing.  “The ability to have our community watch school board meetings at their convenience will continue to support enhanced communication efforts.  We realize everyone may not be able to make Monday night meetings, but are still interested in the happenings of our district.  This addition will allow for more information to be accessed by our community in a timely manner,” shared School Board Chair, Michelle Meyer.

The regular monthly board meetings will be taped and the video will be uploaded within 48 hours.  Links to view the videos are available on the district website or can be found at www.vimeo.com/isd748.

“This is a progressive means to enhance communication with our community in the 21st Century.  This aligns well with Vision 2015 in supporting and enhancing open and responsive communication which allows for greater community engagement,” said Dr. Joe Hill, Superintendent of Sartell-St. Stephen Schools.

The School Board is making a concerted effort to improve board communications with the community.  In January of this year, the Board added a student representative to the Board.  In February, the Board hosted a ‘Question and Answer’ session and plans to hold another session on Wednesday, March 20th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Liquid Assets.  The Board will also be holding its regular April Board Meeting in St. Stephen at St. Stephen City Hall on Monday, April 15th, starting at 6:00 p.m.
