BUDGET ADJUSTMENT INFORMATION
In November 2018, the Sartell-St. Stephen School District operating levy vote failed. Funding from the levy would have provided needed revenue for programming at all schools and the operational costs of a new high school. As a result of the failure, the school district must make budget adjustments (cuts and revenue) for the 2019-2020 school year. Information regarding anticipated ISD 748 budget adjustments for the 2019-2020 school year can be found on our website at sartell.k12.mn.us/budgetadjustments.
The school board has approved the recommendation of a staff committee resulting in reconfiguring Oak Ridge Elementary and Pine Meadow Elementary to serve students in Grades Pre-K-Grade 2. One school site would serve as an Early Learning Center for Pre-K and Kindergarten and the other school site would house Grades 1-2 beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. The PK-2 committee will continue to work on the logistics of this new configuration. The reconfiguration of current school buildings was part of the Community Schools Planning Committee’s long-term facilities plan. To learn more, please visit our School Building Reconfigurations webpage.
