  • A MESSGAE FROM PRINCIPAL HANSEN

    Greetings Sabre Families,

On November 9, the Sartell-St. Stephen School District made the decision (after reviewing multiple data points) to move Grades 3-12 to Distance Learning starting on Monday, November 16.  We are so thankful we were able to start the year in the Hybrid Learning Model and build positive relationships with students prior to moving to Distance Learning. We are also grateful to have had students in the building last week so they could meet their new 2nd quarter teachers, learn about expectations for students and families, and get course materials to use during Distance Learning.

Please spend some time reviewing the following document for specific information regarding Distance Learning at Sartell High School: SHS Distance Learning Model Information. This plan shares general information about distance learning, our daily schedule, attendance information, mental health supports, lunch pick-up times and locations, and other pertinent information.

Classroom teachers will continue communicating with students through Schoology. They will be sending progress reports to families every-other-week starting on November 25 to communicate your child’s progress in their class.

Material Pick Up: Material pick up is available for students/families Thursdays from 8am - 4pm. If your family is quarantined, please do not come to school to pick up materials. Instead, please call the office and we will make other arrangements.

If you have questions, please call 320-656-0748 so we can route you to the appropriate staff member.

Thank you for your patience, support, and grace. We are all working hard to provide the best education possible for all students, regardless of the learning model.

    Sincerely,
    Sascha Hansen,
    SHS Principal
