About Food Service
ISD 748 Food Service Mission
“Proudly offer our Students a wide variety of nutritious, affordable and satisfying meals that enable them to succeed academically and physically, while teaching lifelong healthful eating habits.”
Sartell-St. Stephen Food Service partners with local farmers and suppliers to make sure students and staff have fresh and nutritious meals for breakfast and lunch.
We seek out sustainable methods to combat food waste: Barthold Recycling, Inc. turns food waste from our schools into animal feed, Salvation Army uses leftovers as part of their free meal program to those in need, and Tri-County Organics from Sauk Rapids is taking our food waste from Sartell Middle School for composting this year.
